That video moved me to tears. I have an autistic adult brother who has had a difficult life but is now in a much better place thanks to the perseverance of my mum and some amazing people who are determined to understand the value of autistic/behaviourally challenged people. He is like a toddler and is no classic beauty; people respond to him with disgust or fear. What they dont know is that he orchestrates a huge amount of laughter, is hugely sensitive and tender and always grounds us in the present. We are privileged to have him in our family.
