I have been reading the book drive and it totally supports what you are talking about. The worst is how we bribe kids at school and I think it is affecting the love of learning 🙂
Yes, I think that book (Drive, by Dan Pink) is a very good look at the science of motivation.
This is why I don’t like that stupid Elf on the Shelf at Christmas.
